Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Iluy collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It covers the web app, mobile apps, SMS, and WhatsApp.
Last updated: June 11, 2026
1. Overview
Iluy (“Iluy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an AI assistant built around content filtering: you set the standards you want, and every answer is screened to respect them, across the web app, our iOS and Android mobile apps, SMS, and WhatsApp. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
This policy applies to the Iluy website, web application, mobile apps (iOS and Android), and messaging channels (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by Iluy AI, located at 24123 Greenfield Rd., Suite #204, Southfield, MI 48075, United States. If you have questions, contact us at privacy@iluy.ai.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: your name, email address, and, where you use messaging channels, your phone number. Accounts are created and authenticated through Firebase Authentication, including third-party sign-in (such as Google) where you choose it.
- Profile and settings: the content standards, filters, and preferences you configure, including language (English, Hebrew, or Yiddish).
- Conversations and content: the prompts, messages, files, images, and documents you send to or create with the Service, along with any memories or saved context you ask us to retain.
- Voice input: when you use voice features in our mobile apps, we access your device microphone to capture the audio you record so it can be transcribed into a prompt. Microphone access is used only while you are actively recording, and only with your permission.
- Billing information: when you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited transaction details (such as plan, amount, and status) but we do not store your full card number.
- Support and feedback: information you share when you contact us or submit feedback.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage data: features used, actions taken, models requested, and other interactions with the Service.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies: a session cookie is used to keep you signed in and to route signed-in and signed-out visitors correctly. See “Cookies” below.
- Diagnostics: error and performance data (for example via Sentry) to help us detect and fix problems.
Mobile app permissions
Our mobile apps request certain device permissions to provide optional features. Each is requested only when you first use the related feature, and you can grant or deny it in your device settings at any time:
- Microphone: to capture audio for voice input, which is transcribed into a prompt. Accessed only while you are recording.
- Photos and media library: to let you save images generated with the Service to your device, and to attach images you choose to a conversation. We access only the items you select and do not browse your library.
Information from third parties
- Authentication providers (such as Google via Firebase) that confirm your identity when you sign in.
- Integrations you choose to connect (for example through Composio, Make, or Slack), which may share data with the Service at your direction.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating AI responses and applying your content filters and standards.
- Authenticate you, secure your account, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Process subscriptions and payments through our payment processor.
- Deliver messages and responses across web, mobile apps, SMS, and WhatsApp.
- Personalize your experience, including remembering settings and any memories you choose to save.
- Monitor, debug, and improve the Service, including reliability, safety, and quality of filtering.
- Communicate with you about updates, security notices, and support.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. AI processing and content filtering
To generate responses, the content you submit (such as prompts, messages, and attached files) is sent to third-party AI model providers that process it on our behalf. Depending on the model you use, these providers may include Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, Mistral, Cohere, Perplexity, xAI, Amazon Web Services (Bedrock), and Google Cloud (Vertex AI).
Content filtering is a core function of the Service: to apply the standards you set, your content is analyzed against those standards before and/or after a response is produced. This analysis is performed to deliver the Service you have asked for.
We do not sell your conversations, and we do not use them to train our own foundation models. Third-party providers process your content under their own terms; we select providers that offer business or enterprise terms intended to limit retention and to not use submitted content to train their models, but their practices are governed by their agreements with us.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can delete conversations and content within the Service, and you can request deletion of your account. Some limited data may persist in backups or logs for a reasonable period before being overwritten, and certain diagnostic records are kept only for a short window.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong password and keep your account credentials confidential.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@iluy.ai. We will respond consistent with applicable law and may need to verify your identity first. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
You can also manage many choices directly: update your profile and settings, adjust your filters and standards, delete conversations and memories, and opt out of non-essential communications.
9. Children and family use
Iluy is designed to help families and organizations set standards for AI use, and may be used by minors under the supervision and control of a parent, guardian, or administrator who sets up and manages the account. Where the Service is used by a child, the supervising adult is responsible for that account and for the content standards applied to it.
We do not knowingly create accounts for, or collect personal information directly from, children below the age required by applicable law without appropriate consent from a parent, guardian, or administrator. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without the necessary consent, contact us at privacy@iluy.ai and we will take appropriate steps to address it.
10. International data transfers
We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you live. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps intended to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with applicable law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
13. Contact us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our handling of your information, contact us at privacy@iluy.ai, or by mail at Iluy AI, 24123 Greenfield Rd., Suite #204, Southfield, MI 48075, United States.
